Joey Vincent Eades, 43, of 209 Wildlife Road in Princeton died Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born March 4, 1970 in Princeton he was the son of Drema Janney and husband Jerry of Narrow, VA and the late Bernard A. Eades.
Joey and his wife Stephanie were owners of the Twin State Industrial Cleaning Service in Princeton. He was of the Baptist faith, had been a lifelong resident of this area, and was a member of the Carpenters Union in Roanoke. VA. Joey enjoyed fishing, football, NASCAR racing, and his cat Boo.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Arvel Thompson; his paternal grandparents, Doris and Arthur Thomas; and one uncle, Arvel Hampton Thompson.
Additional survivors include his wife, Stephanie Hicks Eades of Princeton; three sons, Joey V. Eades, Jr. and wife Casey of Bluefield, WV, Austin C. Eades of Narrows, VA, and Dallas C. Eades of Statesville, NC; one grandson, Brady Gavin Eades; two stepsons, Zachary K. Elder and Adam R. Elder both of Princeton; maternal grandmother, Lois Thompson of Kellysville; three aunts, Becky Howery and husband David of Roanoke, VA, Carol McKenzie and husband James of Princeton, and Vickie Leamnson and husband Mike of Roanoke, VA; three uncles, Mike Eades and wife Anita of Princeton, Todd Thompson of Kellysville, and Kent Thomas and wife Linda of North Carolina; and special friend, Ethan Scott of Princeton.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at the G.E. Davis Chapel of Fredeking Funeral Service in Oakvale with Mike Robertson, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at the Willowton Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Thomas Wimmer, Rick Grey, Mike Guy, Greg Helm, Terry Parks, Jason Paitsel and Jessy Roberts.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the service hour on Tuesday.
