Bobby Scott, age 41, of Burke Mountain, near Keystone, W.Va., died Sunday morning, January 6, 2013, at Bluefield Regional Medical Center after a long illness. Born May 18, 1971 in Princeton, W.Va., he was the son of Judy Humphrey Huerta of Prescott Valley, Arizona and the late Donald Scott Sr.
Other than his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Scott Jr.; also his maternal and paternal grandparents.
He is survived by: His wife of 16 years, Karen Foster Scott of the home; two daughters, Karli Scott of the home and Nicole Scott of the home; four sisters, Pam Robinson of Chino Valley, Arizona, Tina Anderson and husband Harry of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Debbie Hirt of San Diego, California, Brenda Scott of Dewey, Arizona; also nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted today (Thursday), January 10, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at the Widener Funeral Home Chapel, Northfork, W.Va. with the Rev. Johnny Wayne Gray officiating.
Friends called Wednesday from 6 to 8:00 p.m. at the Widener Funeral Home, Northfork.
In honoring Bobby's wishes, he will be cremated after funeral services.
