PRINCETON — Hazel L. Trent, 85, of Princeton, W.Va. went to be with the Lord on December 29, 2012 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born in Isaban, W.Va. on February 01, 1927, she was the daughter of late Viola and Henry Davis.

She served the Church of God her entire life and was a member of Pastor C.B Shrader's church, Princeton Praise & Worship Center of Princeton, W.Va. She spent many years working at Northfork Library, volunteered at Welch Hospital and worked with many children in the Northfork and Elkhorn area of West Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Trent; three beloved sons, Kenneth Trent, Michael Trent and Darrell Trent. Also one beloved daughter, Betty Bailey and one son-in-law, Jimmy Joe Bailey.

Survivors include daughter, Billy Bailey of Williamson, W.Va.; daughter, Barbara Harman and husband Marvin Harman of Princeton, W.Va.; daughter, Hope Trent and husband Hasel Robinette. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Isaban Church of God, Isaban, W.Va. with the Reverend Johnny Gray of Princeton, W.Va. officiating. Burial will follow in the Four Pole Cemetery at Isaban W.Va. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may visit with the Trent family at the Isaban Church of God Tuesday, January 1, 2013 after 6 p.m. There will also be a memorial service at Princeton Praise & Worship Center at a later date.
