THOMPSON VALLEY, Va. — Margaret “Margo” Martin, age 46, of Thompson Valley, Va., died Thursday, May 23, 2013 at her home. She was born June 11, 1966 at Ann Arbor, Mich. and was a daughter of Patricia Ann Smith Hall of Bluewell, W.Va. and the late Crate David Hall Sr.

Margo was a homemaker, who enjoyed creating and fabricating jewelry. She liked working in her flower gardens and collected porcelain dolls. She loved her family and her dogs and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Anthony “Tony” Martin.

Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her sons, Job Isaiah Martin and wife, Ashley of Mudfork, Va., Zachariah Martin and wife, Jesica of Clearfork, Va., and Jack Martin of Thompson Valley, Va.; grandchildren, Jaxon Isaiah Martin of Mudfork, Va., Aiyanna Martin of Clearfork, Va., and Breonna Martin of Abbs Valley, Va.; maternal grandmother, Cathelene Mae Smith of Falls Mills, Va.; sisters, Patricia Jolyn Hall of Chatsworth, Calif., Rhonda Naomi Hodges and husband, Lee of Greenville, Tenn., and Mildred McCoy and husband, James of Springville, Va.; brother, Crate David Hall Jr. and wife, Loretta of Advance, N.C.; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Lockhart and husband Jim, Patsy Richardson and husband, Roy, and Barbara Angles and husband, Sam, all of Tazewell, Va.; brother-in-law, Jody Martin and wife, Kathy of Tazewell, Va.; several nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends also survive.

Graveside and interment services for Margaret “Margo” Martin will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, Va. with the Rev. Nate Ware officiating. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.

There will be no public visitation prior to the graveside and interment services.
