RICHLANDS, Va. —
She was born in Richlands, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Edward and Trula Jackson Lockhart. Mrs. Jackson was an LPN at the former Mattie Williams Hospital in Richlands, Virginia. She attended Laymans Chapel in Richlands and was a lifelong resident of the Richlands area. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, John William Lockhart.
Her Survivors are: Her Husband, Norman Jackson of Richlands, Virginia; One Daughter: Jessica Compton and husband Ricky of Springville, Virginia; Four Sons: Norman Christopher W. Jackson and wife, Sherie of Haymarket, Virginia, Patrick Jackson and wife, Ollena of Raven, Virginia, Brandon M. Jackson and wife, Jo of Abingdon, Virginia, Jordan Aaron Jackson of Richmond, Virginia; Three Sisters: Linda Shortt and husband, Don of Belfast, Virginia, Gincy Stezar of Silver Springs, Maryland, Angela Boyda and husband, Tom of Abingdon, Virginia; Two Brothers: James Edward Lockhart and wife, Debbie of Richlands, Virginia, Michael Anthony Lockhart and wife, Dana of Paintlick, Virginia; Five Grandchildren: Haley Nicole Jackson, Hayden Christopher Jackson, Cameron William Jackson, Alexa Compton, Ricky Edward Compton.
Funeral services for Deanna Helen Jackson will be conducted Friday, May 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Grady McGlothlin and Rev. Cody Harman officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens, Claypool Hill, Virginia. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home; 1401 Second Street; Richlands, Virginia.
