Worley Fayne Mullins, age 68, of Maple Acres Road, Bluefield, WV, died on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Princeton Community Hospital.
Born on June 7, 1945, in Pound, VA, he was a son of the late Darrell and Flossie Mullins. He served in the US Marine Corps for 5 years during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He had retired from the West Virginia Armature Company in Bluefield. He had lived in Bluefield for the past 43 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Wanda Victoria “Vickie” Mullins; and a sister, Della Bush.
Survivors include: Wife: Vickie Gilliam Mullins of the home. Son: Terry Mullins and wife Darla of Bluefield, WV. Daughter: Tina Mullins of Bluefield, WV. Brothers: Danny Mullins of Pound, VA, Freddie Mullins of Pound, VA, Ben Mullins of Pound, VA. Sisters: Shelia Willis of Pound, VA, Diana Bowling of Pound, VA. Grandchildren: Terrika, Trevor, and Drake Mullins. Special Grandson: Eligh. He is also survived by all of his special friends at Princeton Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Robert Lester officiating. Burial will follow at the Hensley-Addington Cemetery at Rocky Fork, VA near Norton, VA with Pastor Donnie West officiating at the Graveside. Pallbearers will be Trevor Mullins, Drake Mullins, Sonny Farmer, Cody Goins, Anthony Eades, Matthew Woodrum, Daryle Mullins, Joshua Mullins, Ben Mullins, and Jacob Mullins. Military Honors will be performed by the Mercer County Veterans Honor Guard at the funeral home. Friends may call from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
