RAMSEUR, N.C. —
Thelma Lucille Harry Perry, 86, of Ramseur, NC (formerly Bluefield, WV) went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, June 7, 2014 after a long illness. She was born November 20, 1927 in Jenkinjones, WV. She was the daughter of Fletcher Harris and Lula Rickman Harris of Winston-Salem, NC.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jason Harry Sr., Joseph Perry; her son Robert Harry and grandson Adam Harry.
Survivors include her daughter Geraldine Ann Singleton and husband Fredrick of Summerville, SC; sons, Jason Lee Harry, Jr. of Princeton, WV and Richard Allen Harry and wife Linda of Ramseur, NC. She has six grandchildren, Sherrie Large and husband Brooks of Summerville, NC, Brad Singleton of Summerville, Steven Harry and wife Lisa of Princeton, WV, Lynn Thompson and husband Kevin of Princeton, Lisa Horne and husband Doug of Princeton, WV, and Daniel Harry of Pensacola, FL; seven great grandchildren; two surviving brothers, Les Harris and wife Clara of Rural Hall, NC and Leonard Harris and wife Peggy of Pfafftown, NC.
She was a stay-at-home wife and mother; devoted to her children and grandchildren. She loved to cook and garden.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the mausoleum chapel of Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA with Dr. W.D. Hasty, Jr. officiating.
