Antonio LaSala Jr.

BOISSEVAIN, Va. — Antonio LaSala Jr., 84, of 116 Jimmy Grose Lane, Boissevain, Virginia, passed away Monday, June 02, 2014 at his home. Born in Gary, West Virginia he was the son of the late Antonio LaSala, Sr. and Jenny Muso LaSala. He was retired from the mining industry having been employed as an electrician.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two children Antonio LaSala III and Steve Michael LaSala; his first wife, Billie Marie LaSala; four sisters, Josephine Toth, Anna Karshner, Paulina LaSala and Mary LaSala and one brother Dominick LaSala.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Lucas LaSala of the home; two sisters, Marcella Bonhotel and husband Walter of Ohio and Margaret Leyva of Florida; grandchildren Michelle Creasy and husband Frankie of Tazewell, Virginia, Angelina Farris and husband Rick of Bluefield, Virginia, Michael LaSala and wife Debra of Bowling Green, Kentucky and Megan LaSala of Bluefield, Virginia; great grandchildren, Taylor Creasy, Levi Stroupe, Hunter Stroupe, Kaitlyn LaSala, Kaylee LaSala, Kendyl LaSala, Carter Creasy and Kameron First; stepchildren, Clyde Sluss and companion Joyce Young, Leeonna Wrenn and companion Jeff Smith, Lora Haga and husband Danny, Walter Sluss and wife Courtney Sluss, Teresa Dillon and companion Jamie Nunley; step grandchildren, Jacob Persiani, Timothy Persiani, Marcus Sluss, Barrett Sluss, Eden Dotson, Lily Sluss, Tommy Wren, Destiny Sluss, Bethany Walls and Bella Sluss.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Rodriguez Funeral Home in Pocahontas, Virginia with the Rev. Reginald Blakewood officiating. Internment will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Bluefield, Virginia. Friends may call Wednesday, June 4, 2014 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at the Rodriguez Funeral Home in Pocahontas, Virginia. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
