Laura Belle Tinney Wagner, age 69, of Coalwood, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2013, at Welch Community Hospital. Born July 14, 1944, in Premier, she was the daughter of the late John and Delphia Jenks Tinney.
She was a resident of McDowell County all her life; she was a former employee at the Flat Iron Drug Store. Her favorite past times were bowling and reading. She was preceded in death by her parents and one nephew John Tinney Jr.
Survivors include her husband Johnny Wagner of Coalwood; one son Roger Jones Jr. of Huttonsville; two sisters, Deloris "Pookie" Rankins and husband John Henry of Bluntville, Va., Brenda "Jobby" Mullins and husband Alvin of Premier; two brothers, Eddie Tinney and wife Belinda of Fall Branch, TN and John Tinney of Premier; and several nieces and nephews and special friends Patricia and Mark Jones of Princeton, WV.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 1 p.m. from the Fanning Funeral Home Chapel in Welch with Pastor Martin West, officiating. Burial will follow at Iaeger Memorial Cemetery, Roderfield, WV.
Friends may call Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Fanning Funeral Home Chapel, from 12 noon to 1 p.m.
Pallbearers will be family.
