Charlotte Irene Bauguess, 85, of Mercer Springs Road, died peacefully Sunday morning, November 3, 2013 at home surrounded by her family.
Born in Amherstdale, WV on May 21, 1928, she was the daughter of the late David Harrison and Lillie Opal Scott Watts.
Irene graduated from Athens High School and retired from North American Rockwell in Princeton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Harrison Watts, Jr. and a sister, Frances Crockett.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 65 years, Davy Ray Bauguess; daughter, Nancy Meadows and husband James of Lerona; grandchildren, Steven Meadows of Princeton, and Pamela Patterson and husband Randy of Tarboro, NC; and two beautiful great-grandchildren, Matthew and Abigail Patterson; one sister, Patricia Damewood and husband David of Princeton; four brothers, Tommy Watts and wife Grace of Manassas, VA, Richard Watts, Robert Watts and Harry Watts and wife Karen all of Princeton.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 5, 2013 from Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, Garden of the Good Shepherd with Pastor Scott Mayberry officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may visit with the family Tuesday from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM at the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton.
