Carrie Eula Triplett, 82, of Welch passed away Friday, September 20, 2013 in Glenwood Retirement Village in Princeton.
Born April 29, 1931 in Davy, she was the daughter of the late Montgomery Lester and Blanche Mae Dunnigan Lester. She was a homemaker, and attended the Welch Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Sherman Blevins; her second husband, Alfred Triplett; a daughter and son, Melissa “Lisa” Dash and Donald Lee Lester; and ten brothers and sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Jean Meadows and husband John of Princeton; four sons, Eugene Lester and wife Lisa of Pineville, Gary “Butch” Lester and wife Georgie of Princeton, Ricky Blevins and former wife Linda of Welch, and Russell Blevins and wife Hope of Hickory, NC; two sisters, Lunnie Frost of Roderfield and Minnie Thomas of Warsaw, IN; 13 grandchildren, Ron Lester Myers, Alexis Lester, Gary Lester, Carol Lester, Aaron Lester, Richard Blevins, Amanda Blevins, Joshua Blevins, Sarah Blevins, Kaila Hall, Austin Dash, Amber Dash and Tyler Dash; 5 great-grandchildren, Trevor, Jacob, Carley and Maci Lester and Lauren Cook. She is also survived by several stepchildren, step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be conducted today, Sunday, at 3 p.m. at Trinity Temple in Welch with Bishop Tim Akers officiating. Burial will follow in Asco Cemetery, Asco.
Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
