BLUEFIELD, Va. —
Nathan Leroy Kitts, 76, of Bluefield, VA, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. He was born in Bluefield, VA and was the son of the late Ira Dunn and Trucie Correll Kitts. He had worked for the town of Bluefield, Virginia doing various jobs.
He was a member of the Faith Assembly Pentecostal Holiness Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Pearl Belle Brown Kitts; brother, Garland Kitts; and sisters, Alma Kitts and Samatha Greemore.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Helen Mills Kitts; his son, Mark Wayne Kitts and wife Becky of Bluefield, VA; brothers, Ira Kitts of Jacksonville, FL, Herbert Kitts and wife Clara of Altamonte Springs, FL, Glenn Kitts of Bluefield, VA, Elmer Kitts and wife Mary of Harvey, IL; sister, Claudette Stafford of Oak Ridge, TN; his granddaughter, Adrianna Nicole Kitts of Bluefield, VA; many nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Kitts will be held Monday, September 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Pastor Brenda Miller and Brother Mike Barnette officiating. Burial will follow in the Grandview Memory Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends may visit with the family tonight from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
