Willmer Sue Lowe
RICHLANDS, Va. — Willmer Sue Lowe, age 70, of Richlands, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013 in a Bristol, Tennessee hospital.
She was born in Buchanan County, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Albert A. and Lola Vella Compton Keene.
She was a life long resident of the area and was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Sammie Estil Lowe, Sr., and one granddaughter, Amber Sueann Lowe.
Survivors are: Three Daughters: Vicky Dye and husband, Tom of Thomasville, N.C., Marsha Presley of Richlands, Virginia, Amanda Sims and husband, Ramsey of Swords Creek, Virginia; Two Sons: Sammie E. Lowe, Jr. of Richlands, Virginia, Marcus Lowe and wife, Amy of Castlewood, Virginia; Two Sisters: Virginia Keene Lowe of Richlands, Virginia, Betty Louise Keene Whitt of Richlands, Virginia; One Brother: James Keene and wife, Reba of Salem, Virginia. Ten Grandchildren and Four Great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services for Willmer Sue Lowe will be conducted Friday, April 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Evangelist Bob Smith and Doug Haga officiating. Interment will follow at the Newberry Family Cemetery on Horton Ridge near Raven, Virginia. Pallbearers will be: Brian Sims, Zachary Lowe, Anthony Lowe, Chuck Culbertson, Melvin Orr, and Dallas Dye. Dylan Sims will be a Honorary Pallbearer.
