Pete Mollett, 79, of Matoaka, died Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Welch Community Hospital in Welch. Born November 9, 1933 in Roderfield, he was the son of the late Rafey Mollett Jr. and Sena Bowens Mollett.
He was a veteran of the Korean conflict and worked in the logging industry as a timber man.
Survivors include his wife, Vera Hubbard Mollett and one sister, Hazel Bower of Bean Station, Tenn.
A private memorial service was conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel of the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Margaret Holt officiating. Interment followed at Resthaven Memorial Park in Princeton.
