TAZEWELL, Va. —
Harold Edward Harrison, 70, of Tazewell, Virginia, lost his battle with cancer on June 20, 2013 at his home in Tazewell.
He was born in Pike County, Kentucky on July 21, 1942, and was a former police officer. Harold was preceded in death by his mother, father, two brothers, a sister, and his grandson, Joshua Chambers.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra J. Harrison; his children, Wendy Spivey and Teresa Getz of Orlando, Florida, Laura Griffith of Tazewell, Virginia, Michael Jenkins, Robin Flores, and Susan Teagarden of Houston, Texas; his brother Ernest Davidson; and his sister Biddie Rickman of Jackson, Michigan; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Harold’s life will be held at Moose Lodge 198 of Tazewell, Virginia, where he was a member, on Saturday, June 29, 2013, from 6–8 p.m.
The family has suggested donations to his wife Sandra Harrison, or donations to Hospice of the Comforter in memory of Harold Harrison.
