BLAND, Va — Marsha Jo Guss Fore, age 68, of Bland, Va., passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012. She was born on October 1, 1944 in Pottstown, Pa., daughter of the late George and Margaret Rodenbaugh Guss.

She was preceded in death by her son, George Fore.

Marsha was a member of Bastian Union Church and a member of Friends Gospel Trio. She was a volunteer at Kegley Manor where she was known as the “Bingo Lady.”

Marsha is survived by her husband, Charles Allen Fore; two sons, Kevin Fore and Catherine of Dawsonville, Ga., Brian Fore and Tonja of Florence, S.C.; four grandchildren, Amber, Adam, Phillip and Noah; brother, George Guss of Norristown, Pa.; sisters-in-law, Della Mae Vargo and Bill of Pottstown, Pa., Nancy Hunt of Saltville, Va., Lorraine Sullins and Ronnie of Glade Spring, Va.; brothers-in-law, William R. Fore and Barbara of Scottsburg, Va., Bobby Fore and Debbie of Wytheville, Va., Roy Fore and Fern of Abingdon, Va.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Bastian Union Church with Mr. Paul Looney and Mr. Lee McIntosh officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2012 in Rose Hill Cemetery, Bastian, Va.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations may be made to the Bastian Union Church Building Fund, 29 Bears Trail, Bastian, VA 24314.
