Annie Catherine LaRue DeWeese, 71, of Green Valley, Princeton, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born August 15, 1941 in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Grover G. LaRue and Clemie Shrader LaRue.
Annie was a retired cook working at several area convenient stores and was a lifelong resident of the Princeton area.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Allen DeWeese Sr.
Survivors include three sons, Lee Allen DeWeese and wife Nancy of Bluefield, Brian Scott DeWeese and wife Teresa of Oakvale, and David Bruce Stilwell of Florida; one daughter, Deanna DeWeese of Princeton; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; four sisters, Flora Mae Snapp of Oakvale, Holly Rebecca Waugh and Bertha Thomas both of Princeton, and Bonnie Browning and husband Randy of Danville, Va.; and three brothers, David LaRue and wife Jean of Bluefield, Timothy LaRue and wife Vickie and William LaRue all of Oakvale.
In honoring Mrs. DeWeese's request, her body has been cremated. A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, June 30, 2013 at the G.E. Davis Chapel of Fredeking Funeral Service in Oakvale with Pastor Delmar Stilwell officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until the service hour on Sunday.
