Patty Sue Phillips, 63, of Brown's Ridge Road in Lerona, died Monday, December 31, 2012, at her residence. Born in Princeton July 31, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Frances Dobbins Long.
Patty was a graduate of Peterstown High School.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Gerald Edward Phillips.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Gerald Gene Phillips of Lerona; two daughters, Bridgette Bennett of Princeton and Beth Hedrick of Talcott, W.Va.; three stepdaughters, Robin Brooks and her husband Teddy of Pineville, Helen Adkins and her husband Johnny of Hinton, and Dana Dodson and her husband Marvin of Rocky Mount, Va.; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; one sister, Melissa Dobbins of Princeton; and one brother, King Long of Speedway.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 3, 2013, at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton from 10:00 a.m. to the service hour on Thursday.
