Mr. Hill was born September 12, 1940 in West Virginia and was the son of the late Frank Dewey Hill and Beulah Mae Archie Hill. He was also preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
Robert was employed with Rockwell International, for many years, and then went on to work for Inland Motors, where he worked as a motor lab supervisor. He was a loving father and grandfather and had accepted Christ into his life. In his retirement he worked in his wood working shop making projects for family and friends. He was a member of the Princeton Moose Lodge since 1968.
His surviving family includes a son, Frank Robert Hill Jr. and his wife, Melony; daughter, Kim Cook; granddaughter, Amy Foster; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Jimmy Hill, Billy Hill and Clayton Hill; a sister, Elizabeth St.Claire; and a long time companion and friend, Jane McGrady.
A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Frank Hill, Jr., for the benefit of Lymes Disease, at 8114 Fatches Lane, Bridgewater, VA 22812.
