PIPESTEM — PIPESTEM — Willard H. “Bill” Lilly, Jr. 65, of Knob Ridge, Pipestem, passed away in his sleep at home on Monday, November 11, 2013 in Pipestem.

Born May 31, 1948, at Hinton, was the son of the late, Willard H. Lilly Sr. & Hazel Meadows Lilly.

Bill graduated from Hinton High School where he played football. Bill was the former Service Manager with Grady Whitlock Ford in Beckley for many years. He will be remembered as being an outstanding Sales person for Andy Clark Ford for more than 20 years, and was named Outstanding Salesman of the Month numerous times. Bill retired from Andy Clark Ford in 2009. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, having received multiple trophies. He spent many days and weekends on the lake enjoying the outdoors with his friends. Bill also enjoyed NASCAR, golf and was an avid WVU fan.

Bill was devoted to his daughters and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law; Richard & Frances Foley; a sister, Virginia “Sis” Lilly.

Survivors include his two daughters, Veronica K. Brabb of Pipestem and Farrah A. Lilly of Salisbury, N.C.; his four grandchildren, Kaysee Haze Brabb, Kristan Leigh Ann Brabb, Matthew Joseph Goldstein, & Alexzandria Marie Goldstein; a special neice, April D. Lilly; along with his former wife and the mother of his children, Debra A. Volkmer of Salisbury, N.C.; and a host of friends and relatives that live throughout the country.

A celebration of life service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 23, 2013 at the Memorial Funeral Directory, on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Rick Chester officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Woods Family Cemetery at Pipestem, W.Va. Friends may gather to visit and share memories with the family from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour.
