Sammie Marie Hazzard

KIMBALL —  Born January 24, 1963 in Welch, W.V. she was the daughter of Ardelia B. Hairston Hazzard of Tampa, F.L. and the late Samuel C. Hazzard Sr. She was a graduate of Mt. View High School, class of 1981, she was a graduate of Northwest Missouri University, she also was a graduate of the Little French Beauty Academy. She was a beautician at J.C. Penney for 19 years, and had last worked for Smart Style Beauty Salon, Bluefield, Va. She was a member of the Deliverance Temple Church, Brushfork, W.V. Her interest were her Church, Cooking, Gardening, and Aviation Enthusiast. She was a resident of Kimball most of her life.

Other than her Father, she was preceded in death by her sister Sabrina Gail Hazzard.

She leaves to cherish her memory: Her Mother Ardelia B. Hairston Hazzard of Tampa, FL; two sisters Tywanny G. Sanders (Melvin) of Roanoke, Va. Angie Pratts (Larry) of Tampa, FL; three brothers Samuel C. Hazzard Jr. (Cynthia) of Kimball, W.V. Theodore R. “Teddy” Hazzard II (Louvinia Collins-Hazzard) of Kimball, W.V. Carl P. Hazzard (Amy) of Princeton, W.V.; Her Fiance Larry Robinson of Kimball, W.V.; two Special Children Tiesha Neal and Tyshana Neal of Kimball, W.V.; also several nieces, nephews, and other extended Family.

A Homegoing service will be conducted on Friday, August 2, 2013, at 12:00 Noon, at the Deliverance Temple Church, Brushfork, W.V. with Rev. David Kirby and Rev. Larry Hairston officiating. Burial will follow at the Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Rt. 20, Bluewell, W.V.

Friends may call at the Church on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Serving as Pallbearers and Flowerbearers will be family and friends. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers, will be her friends, the drivers and EMT’s from Widener’s Ambulance Service in Northfork.
