Beulah Mae Lane, age 81, of Newhall, West Virginia, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at home. She was born in Newhall, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Robert Glen and Ethel Ocie Boothe Brewster.
Beulah was a lifelong resident of the Newhall area and was a homemaker. She was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith. Beulah will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde G. Lane; one granddaughter, Crystal Lane; one sister and six brothers.
She is survived by: Two Daughters: Avis Byrd and husband, Charlie of Newhall, West Virginia, Sherri Bandy of Marion, Virginia. Three Sons: Clyde Lane and wife, Myrtle of Amonate, Virginia, William Robert Lane and wife, Alberta of Indian Springs, Ohio, Keith Hobart Lane of Lincolnton, North Carolina. Two Brothers: Jerry Brewster and wife, Ruby of North Carolina, Ralph Brewster of Newhall, West Virginia. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
A funeral service for Beulah Mae Lane will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Arnold Marrs officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia. Grandsons and sons-in-law will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 16, 2013 from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. at Hurst-Scott Funeral Home, 1401 Second Street, Richlands, Virginia.
