PRINCETON — Leona Jane Pitzer, 69, Pitzer Lane, Princeton, died Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at her home.
Born in Lindside on March 28, 1944 she was the daughter of the late, Abraham Lincoln and Bertha Wilson Hawks. She was a homemaker.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 52 years, James Elbert Pitzer.
Also surviving are four children, Starlene Thompson and her husband, Gary, Troy Pitzer and his wife, Stephaine, both of Princeton, Loretta Wyatt and her husband, Roger of Lerona and Tony Pitzer of Princeton; two siblings, Howard Hawks and his wife, Maxine and Jewell Bishop and her husband, Boss, both of Princeton; ten grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; also, a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at the Pitzer Cemetery, Clover Dew Dairy Road in Princeton, on Friday, September 13, 2013 at 1:00 p.m.
Those wishing to attend the graveside service are requested to meet at the funeral home by 12:30 p.m.
