BELLEVILLE, MI —
Born July 21, 1933 in Damascus, VA, son of the late Fred & Pearl (Richie) Thompson. Jack proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He retired from General Motors Willow Run, after 30 years. He was a hard worker who enjoyed vegetable gardening and going to flea markets.
Survived by his wife Barbara (Little) Thompson; three children: B. Lynn (Derrick) Kirby and Roger (Katie) Thompson, both of Belleville, Tanya Wonnell, of Blissfield; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a brother Fred (Lori) Thompson of New Port Richey, FL; also numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceded in death by brother Hal Thompson; also sister Doris Warchala.
Visitation 2-3 p.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2013 with a 3:00 p.m. Funeral at Faith Assembly Church, Belleville. Interment Grandview Memory Gardens, Bluefield, VA.
