Daniel Edward Cintron

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Daniel Edward Cintron, 46, of Newport News, Va., formerly of Princeton, died Saturday, April 7, 2012 at his residence. He was born July 23, 1965 in Princeton. He was the son of Brenda J. Barton and stepson of Steve Barton of Princeton. Daniel was a graduate of Princeton High School and served as a corpsman in the U.S. Navy, honorably discharged. His hobbies included metal detecting and Civil War history.

He was preceded in death by his fraternal grandparents, Daniel and Virginia Henderson of Princeton; and uncle, Wayne Henderson of Georgia.

He is survived by three children, Laura D. Cintron, Daniel A. Cintron and Allyson G. Hammond and her husband, Ben, all of Princeton; one sister, Wendy Meadows and husband, Jonathan; and their daughters, Jordan and Jessica, all of Princeton; brother, David E. Cintron and wife, Darlene of Princeton; David's daughter, Donna; and two granddaughters, Brittney and Katelyn; and brother, Stephen L. Cintron and wife, Amy of Cocoa, Fla.; and their children, Kenneth, Cheyenne, Brynne, and Reganna; also two loving aunts, Shelby Morris and husband, Jeff of Cocoa, Fla., and Marshalene Boatright of Princeton; devoted uncle, Joe Henderson and wife, Ann of Sumter, S.C.; and uncle, Rodney Henderson and wife, Kathy of Waterbury, Conn.

Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Speaker Steve Barton officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until the service hour on Tuesday. In keeping with Daniel's wishes his body will be cremated following the service.
