Mrs. Gartlan was born on November 28, 1932 in Speedwell, VA. She is the daughter of the late Robert Wingate and Mary Eanes Wingate.
She was a devoted wife of 62 years married to her high school sweetheart. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was compassionate and had a strong love for family. We thank you for all that you have taught us. Forever in our hearts. Rest peacefully till we meet again (there's no peace and quiet when we're all together!)
