Susan Faye White Nichols, 28, of Albemarle Street, Bluefield, formerly of Princeton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at her home.
Born in Princeton on April 8, 1985 she was the daughter of Sharon Ann Thomason Harmon of Bluefield and Larry Patton White and his wife Mary of Princeton.
Susan was a graduate of Mercer Christian Academy where she excelled in basketball and volleyball. Susan was a devoted Christian; she loved music and most of all spending time with her children. She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church in Princeton.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clyde Thomason, Joann Southern and Hubert White, one infant brother, Gabriel and two cousins, Steven Thomason and Charlie Renn.
Survivors in addition to her mother, Sharon and father and stepmother, Larry and Mary include her two children, Kyle Johnie Nichols and Katelyn Ann Nichols of the home. Sister, Joann Sharon White of Bluefield, two brothers, Adam Larry White of Bluefield, VA and David Steven Harmon of Bluefield. Grandmother, Celia “Sue” Thomason. Nephew, Matthew and four nieces, Angela, Anna Grace, Aerial and Alayna. Several uncles, aunts and cousins.
Services to celebrate the life of Susan Nichols will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 30, 2013 in the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Marvin Mills and Pastor Brian Stuttler officiating. Burial will follow in the White Family Cemetery on the Pisgah Road near Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may visit with the family Sunday from 3 until 5 PM at the funeral home.
