Born in Browns Creek, WV on October 6, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Edith Bowling.
She was a member of Princeton Praise and Worship Center and was lovingly known as the "Granny" of the church. She dedicated her life to her Lord and her family. She has led many to the Lord in her lifetime and she touched many lives. Her Christmas wish was to go home to spend Christmas with her Lord and Savior.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and soul mate Charles Albert Clark. One daughter, Betty Sargent. Two brothers, Doug and Bill Bowling. Sisters, Winnie May Evans, June Pippin, Ginny Belcher and Alberta Green.
Left to cherish her memory include three daughters, Donna Blankenship and husband Timothy, of Princeton, Goldie Wettland and husband, Judson of Dudley, MA, and Linda Clark of Woester, MA.; one son, Albert Wayne Clark and wife Doreen of Carver, MA; one son-in-law, Darryl Sargent of TN; one sister Mary Belcher of Michigan; 18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive and her extended family of HealthSouth “especially Physical Therapist Earl” and Amanda Ellison with Hospice Compassus.
Funeral Services for Lucille Clark will be conducted Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at 1:00 PM from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Cecil B. Shrader and Pastor Johnny Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Bolen, Douglas Remillard, Todd Wimmer, Joshua Hurley, Ethan Donley, Danny Murphy and Robert Mellen. Honorary pallbearers are Michael B1ankenship, Billy Adams and all other grandsons.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the service hour.
