TAZEWELL, Va. —
Lucille Graham Stewart, age 83, of Tazewell, Va., formerly of the Dix Creek community in North Tazewell, Va., passed away Saturday, May 25, 2013 at the home of her daughter, Rosa.
Born October 28, 1929 in Tazewell County, Va., she was a daughter of the late Zebedee and Ellie Pearl Lowe Osborne. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Elmer “Speck” Graham; second husband, Clyde Russell Stewart; one daughter, Shirley Meadows; two sisters, Geneva Osborne and Gaynell Salyers; three brothers, James Osborne, Donald Osborne, and Jack Osborne; one grandson, Matthew Harris Bogle.
She is survived by two daughters, Rosa McBride of Tazewell, Va. and Barbara Hash and husband, Charles of Belmont, N.C.; five sons, Jack Graham and wife, Brenda of North Tazewell, Va., Miles Graham and wife, Wilma of Dry Fork in North Tazewell, Va., Henry Graham of Gastonia, N.C., Chester Graham and wife, Selma of Clover, S.C., and Eddie Graham of McAdenville, N.C.; five sisters, Novella Alley of Abingdon, Va., Ella Mae Johnson of Bristol, Va., Patricia Lowe of Cedar Bluff, Va., Darvy Clifton of Raven, Va., and Lovada Cooper of Abingdon, Va.; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell, Va. with the Reverend Troy Bartley officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, Va. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. Monday, May 27, 2013.
