Debra Jean Holdren, 57, of Princeton, died Friday, May 24, 2013 at a Charleston hospital. Born March 27, 1956 at Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Glen Edward Burton and Clara Whitt Burton.
Debra was a member of Silver Springs Baptist Church in Princeton and a graduate of Princeton High School. She was an employee of Princeton Community Hospital for 26 years where she was an operating room surgical technician. In her spare time she enjoyed cross stitching, crocheting and fishing. One of her great joys was spending time with her pets.
Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Dale Holdren; one daughter, Amber Holdren of Princeton; one sister, Glenna Taylor and husband Lonnie of Princeton; one aunt, Margaret French of Rocky Gap, Va.; one uncle, Donald Whitt of Dublin, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel of the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Gerald McKinney officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Bluefield, Va.
Friends may visit from 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 27, 2013 at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton.
