POINT PLEASANT —
He was born December 7, 1920, in Williamson, W.Va., a son of the late Thomas Oliver Nunnery and Nora Alice (Burchett) Nunnery.
Ollie served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II, was a retired AEP employee with 30 years service, and a member of the Bluefield, West Virginia Masonic Order.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rev. Ruth Virginia (Kelly) Nunnery; two sisters, Ruth Budnick and Nell Nunnery; one brother, Clifford Nunnery; and a granddaughter, Kimberly Jean Nunnery.
Surviving are one son, Tom (Sharon) Nunnery of Point Pleasant; two daughters, Linda (Tom) Flaherty of Warsaw, New York, and Margaret Holt of Point Pleasant; two brothers, Bill Nunnery of Flowery Branch, Georgia, and Joe (Virginia) Nunnery of Crumpler, W.Va.; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, three step-grandchildren, and 11 step-great-grandchildren.
A service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 26, 2013, at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Chapel in Princeton, W.Va., with Rev. John Holland officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m., Saturday at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, and one hour prior to services Sunday at the cemetery chapel.
