BLUEFIELD, Va. —
Kennith Lee Cumbow, 70, of 301 Triangle Road, Bluefield, Virginia, died Saturday, April 20, 2013. He was born December 19, 1942 in Bluefield, West Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon Samuel and Sally Mable Sarver Cumbow.
Mr. Cumbow served his country for six years in the United States Army. He was a long distance truck driver for Ossit Church Furniture Company for sixteen years and then owned his own construction business. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary Jane Patton Cumbow; his son, Kennith Leslie Cumbow and wife Melissa; grandsons, Colton, Caleb, and Chase Cumbow; brothers, Richard Allen (Mary), Gordon Wayne (Kathy), and Samuel Cumbow; nieces, Patty (Bill) Brown, Crissy Lynn Cumbow, Cari Ann (Steve) King; nephew, Timothy Wayne Cumbow.
Funeral services for Mr. Cumbow will be held Monday, April 22, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. at the Dudley Memorial Chapel in Bluefield, Virginia with Pastor Tony Reed officiating. Friends may visit with the family tonight from 6:00 p.m. to hour of the service.
Burial will be Tuesday, April, 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Kennith Leslie Cumbow, Chris Patton, Stanley Patton, Rick Puckett, Bill Brown, Brad Brown, and Michael Patton. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at Grandview Memory Gardens by 9:45 a.m.
