BLUEFIELD — Stanley Colin Tucker, age 70, of Lorton Lick Road, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at his residence.

Born on May 25, 1943 in Crumpler, he was a son of the late James S. and Sarah Gentry Tucker. He had been a resident of Rt. 3, Bluefield for 3 years, was a retired coal miner for 20 years and was a member of the UMWA. He was a veteran of the US Army.

Survivors include: Wife: Donna Martin Tucker of the home. Son: James Workman and Sharon of Bramwell; 3 daughters: Crystal Gillispie and Chad of King, NC, Kelly Baker of Newport News, VA, Becky Long and Brian of Boston, MA. Sister: Linda Price and Jack of Bluefield; 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. James Milam officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Ben Auton, Jack Price, David Pennington, Chad Gillispie, Chris Pennington; Keith Pennington will serve as pallbearers. Brian Caldwell will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 12:00-1:00 PM at the funeral home.
