James Edward Perdue

BLUEFIELD — James Edward Perdue, 71, of 177 Charcoal Street, Bluefield, WV died at his home on Friday, November 15, 2103 of natural causes.

James was born in Bluefield on April 4, 1942, and was the son of the late Clayton and Beulah Perdue. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Perdue, a sister, Martha Jane, and two brothers, Ronald C. Perdue and Richard L. (Boge) Perdue.

He is survived by his wife, Lillie Mae of the home and a son, Rev. Randy Perdue of Franklin, North Carolina. Also, four brothers – Donald A. Perdue and wife Mildred of Princeton, Charles B. Perdue and wife Charlotte, David W. Perdue and wife Martha, Thomas W. Perdue and wife Sandy all of Bluefield; and 2 grandchildren, Amanda and Cody.

He retired from Fairmont Supply Company with over 30 years of service.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Jim will be held at the Brushfork Baptist Church on Monday night, November 18, 2013 at 7 pm. with Rev. Wes Lambert and Rev. Randy Perdue officiating.

Friends may call on Monday from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the church.
