PEARISBURG, Va. —
Giles made it 11 in a row over Narrows, scoring 40 first half points to roll past the Green Wave 47-8 on Friday night at Stephen C. Ragsdale Field.
Giles rolled up 425 yards on offense, including 361 on the ground and another 64 through the air.
Tyler Perdue scored twice on the ground for Giles, from 10 and 62 yards, to finish with 80 yards. Brett Whitlow paced the Spartans with 95 yards and a touchdown, while Dusty Boggess scored twice.
Brian Mann also scored on a 46-yard run and threw a 30-yard scoring pass to Cody Rhodes.
Narrows was held to 186 yards, with the lone score coming on a 31-yard touchdown pass to Rodney Perdue in the fourth quarter.
Giles (3-0) visit Graham on Friday, while Narrows (2-2) will visit Rural Retreat.

Craig County 27, Montcalm 25
MONTCALM — Craig County returned a kick 76 yards with two minutes left to play to lead the Rockets to thrilling win over the Generals.
Montcalm, which lost by one point earlier this season to Twin Valley, led 25-21 before that play, dropping to 1-3 on the year.
Jason Grose led the Generals with 119 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries. Ryan Absher added 67 yards on eight attempts. Dakota Lanter rushed for 94 yards and a score on eight carries, and also completed 5 of 11 passes for 100 yards, and was picked off twice.
Absher had two receptions for 52 yards. Dustin Williams (1-21), Travis Duncan (1-14) and John Casto (1-10) also had catches for the Generals.
Montcalm travels to Auburn (1-3) on Friday.
