Rose pitches Bears past Graham

BASTIAN, Va. — Aaron Rose scattered four hits and struck out 11 to lead Bland County to a 4-1 win over Graham on Friday night at Skip Dillow Memorial Field.

Andy Pauley led the Bears with two hits and drove in two runs, while Kalub Lambert added a triple.

Jacob Simpson had two hits for Graham. Logan Kirk fanned five and surrendered seven hits to take the loss.

Graham (4-12-1) will visit Fort Chiswell on Tuesday. Bland County visits Radford on Monday

G-Men, Raiders split twinbill

BRADSHAW — Ben Carlise had three hits and drove in four runs to lead Graham to an 8-5 win over River View on Thursday night.

Ben Meade and Jacob Coffey added two hits apiece, and Coffey drove in a pair of runs. McKinley Webb picked up the win for the G-Men.

River View won the nightcap 2-1, led by Demetrius Duff on the mound, with the winning run scoring on a late error.
