Cross Lanes nips Tigers in soccer

PRINCETON — The Princeton Senior High boys soccer team finished off the regular season on Monday evening with a 3-2 loss to Cross Lanes Christian School at Everette K. Bailey Field.

The visitors put the first score on the board, but a pair of Princeton sophomores combined for the equalizer.

Coltin Walls tied the match from point-blank range after getting the assist by Colton Fix.

Another first-half goal by Trey Shrewsbury, assisted by Kade Bradley, ended the Tigers’ scoring for the night and the teams were tied again at 2-2 at halftime.

Princeton (4-9-3) moves on to sectional tournament play later this month.
