PRINCETON — Four Concord women’s soccer players were recognized Tuesday by the West Virginia Conference. Forward Kari Simon and midfielder Sami Spertzel earned second team all-WVIAC accolades. Forward Alyanna James and defender Abby Barber were in the honorable mention list.
After winning a school-record nine consecutive games, Concord finished the season 10-7-2, reaching the semifinals of the postseason tournament. Simon, pictured, led Concord in goals scored (8), points (19) and shots on goal (28).
