PikeView claims Mingo Bay bracket title

CAROLINA FOREST, S.C. — The PikeView baseball team won its bracket championship at the Mingo Bay Classic on Friday, defeating Oak Glen 14-2 to finish the five-day event with a 3-2 record.

Freshman Jacob Harmon won his second tournament game for the Panthers on the mound, allowing just two hits in a complete game effort.

Keian Lee had three hits and drove in two runs, whlie Austin Cordell and Ben Boggess had two hits each. Boggess drove in four runs, while Cordell added three RBIs.

PikeView (11-6), which got a no-hitter from Levi Nash in a win on Friday, will host Liberty on Monday.

PikeView won its last three games in their annual spring break trip to the beach.
