BLUEFIELD — Tim “Rock” Raines, who played in seven Major League All-Star games during his career from 1979-2002, took the mound at Bowen Field Saturday night and tossed the ceremonial first pitch prior to the Blue Jays’ game with the Bristol White Sox.
Raines now works for the Toronto Blue Jays organization. He and several big-league executives were visting Bluefield.
