River View avenges earlier loss to Knights

BRADSHAW — Taylor Dehaven scored 17 poins and Jordan Wilson added 16, helping River View avenge an earlier loss to Mount View by defeating the Golden Knights 62-53 on Tuesday night.

Tyree Baker added 11 points for the Raiders (10-8), who will host Van tonight.

Mount View, which hosts Montcalm tonight, was paced by Rashawn Brooks with 22 points and 13 by Jaedon Burress.

Independence 70, Montcalm 68

MONTCALM — Cody Collins scored 19 points and Aaron Hunt added 15, as Independence held off Montcalm for a two-point win over the Generals.

Tyler Goins led Montcalm with 22 points, 20 of which came in the second half. Dustin Williams added 19 points and Jacob Howard tossed in 10.

Chris Mills tallied 14 points for the Patriots.

Montcalm (2-14) will visit Mount View tonight.
