GARDNER — The PikeView Panthers spread the wealth around on Monday with four players reaching double-figure scoring, to counter a Mavericks attack that scored seven 3-point field goals.

Zach Meadows tossed in 21 points and had seven rebounds for the victors. Seth Wood had 11 points, eight rebounds, six assists and three steals. Bradley Flinchum and Tanner Farley also scored 11 points each. Jason Weitzel generated nine points, six asissts and three steals.

Jacob McKlarney led the Mavericks with 16 points. Landon Shires hit four 3-pointers on his way to 14 points, and Rasheed Lowe chipped in 11.

PikeView (8-7) plays at Mount View tonight.

NARROWS, Va. — Chandler Burton scored 22 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Narrows past Eastern Montgomery in the first round of the new Conference 45 tournament playoffs on Monday night at Patteson Gymnasium.

Brandon Spangler contributed 11 points and 10 rebounds, Austin Lively had 12 rebounds and eight points, and Rodney Perdue dished seven assists for the Green Wave, who held off a second-half rally by the visitors.

Three Eastern Montgomery players each scored 11 points — Kellen Campbell, Ron Ford and J.T. Shrader.

Narrows will play Covington at 7:45 p. m. Thursday in the conference tourney semifinals at Eastern Montgomery High School. Covington defeated Bland County on Monday.
