RICHLANDS, Va. — Three Richlands players scored in double figures but the Blue Tornado fell to the the Abingdon Falcons 66-58 on Tuesday night.

Ben Brown led the Blues with 16, Luke Phillips added 11 and Cody Fuller 10.

Josh Hess led Abingdon with a game-high 24 points.

Richlands plays at Tazewell on Thursday.

PRINCETON — Five three point baskets in the third period by Mercer Christian helped lift the Cavaliers to a 55-42 win over Victory Christian, Tuesday evening.

Three treys by Caleb Janning and two by Chandler Scott in the third stanza broke the game open and carried the Cavs to victory.

Daniel Boothe had a game-high 30 points to lead MCA and Janning added 13.

Thomas Burniston led the Panthers with 10 points. Dylan Billiter led Hurley with eight.

TAZEWELL, Va. — Noah Walker scored 22 points in his return to Tazewell and led Virginia High to an 81-66 win over the Bulldogs, Tuesday night.

Juwan Jordan led Tazewell with a game-high 33 points and had three steals while Malik Davis tallied 11 points and seven rebounds.

The contest was tied at 46, but Virginia High out-scored the Bulldogs 35-20 to gain the win.

Tazewell (7-10) plays Thursday at home against Richlands.
