Princeton golfer in running at W.Va. Am

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS — Princeton golfer Jeff McGraw, a Bluefield State alumnus, was four strokes back of leader Woody Woodward on Tuesday after the first round of the 95th West Virginia Amateur Championship on the Meadows Course at The Greenbrier Resort. McGraw’s 71 was good for a four-way tie for eighth place.

Evan Muscari, a Concord graduate, was one shot further back at 72. Evan Smith of Bluefield had a 76, Princeton’s Patrick Terry was at 81, and Matt Mann of Peterstown was at 82.
