BLUEFIELD — Fred McGriff, whose professional baseball career spanned 19 years, will be a special guest on June 18 at the 108th Annual Dinner Meeting of the Greater Bluefield Chamber of Commerce, board chairman George McGonagle announced on Monday.
McGriff won a World Series with Atlanta in 1995. The five-time All-Star led both leagues in home runs and won three Silver Slugger awards.
The keynote speaker for the dinner will be Mel Didier, Toronto Blue Jays senior advisor and professional scout.
