WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS — Eighty-six junior golfers participated in the Blue Ridge Junior Golf Tour on Thursday at The Greenbrier Resort.

The tournament was sponsored by the Orthopaedic Center of the Virginias.

“It is special for the kids to have a chance to play at a venue that hosted their role models just a couple of weeks ago,” BRJGT tour director Dewayne Belcher said.“Many of these young players attended the PGA event and seem to relish the opportunity to walk where their heroes have walked.”

The players felt much the same.

“This place is awesome,” said Max Meadows product Sam VanDyne, who participates in the BRJGT.
