Prep boys: Bulldogs, Blues go down to defeat

MOUTH OF WILSON, Va. — Jeff Uju scored 24 points and Kem Ubara added 17 to lead Oak Hill Academy (Red) to an 81-63 win over Tazewell on Saturday afternoon.

Tazewell was paced by Jalen Jordan with 28 points, four assists and three steals. Noah Walker added 18 points, 10 rebounds and three blocked shots.

Jordan has scored 28, 26 and 22 points in three games this week.

Tazewell (5-9) will host Abingdon on Tuesday and visit Richlands on Thursday.

HILLSVILLE, Va. — Ben Brown and Zach Johnson each scored 13 points each, but the Blue Tornado fell big for Carroll County.

The Cavaliers improved to 14-0.

Richlands will host Tazewell on Thursday, followed by Honaker on Saturday.

HINTON — Ta’Ron Ayers scored 30 points and Josh Graham added 12 for the Bobcats.

PikeView was paced by Zach Meadows with 25 points and 10 rebounds. Logan McKinney tallied 16 and Jason Weitzel had 11.

PikeView (3-7) will visit James Monroe on Tuesday, while Summers County (6-4) will visit Independence on the same night.
