Three Blue Jays on Appy All-Star team

BLUEFIELD — Bluefield Blue Jays Jairo LaBourt, Mitch Nay and Matt Dean are on the Appala-chian League All-Star team, released Friday by the league office. LaBourt (left-handed pitcher) has a 1.72 ERA and has held opposing hitters to a .188 average. Nay (third base) leads the league with 40 runs batted in as of Friday afternoon. Dean (designated hitter) has the second-highest batting average in the league as of Friday afternoon. The Blue Jays now have seven Appy League All-Stars since moving to Bluefield.
