King's Warriors announce ticket prices for new soccer season

BLUEFIELD — The Southern West Virginia King’s Warriors has announced the ticket prices for the 2014 season, with home games at East River Soccer Complex near Bluefield.

“The team once again will offer one of the most affordable ticket-pricing plans in the entire Premier Development League of the United Soccer League,” said Tim Donelli, the team’s media relations director.                                  

“The goal of Dr. Blume, the founder and president of the ownership group of the King’s Warriors, the Nehemiah Group, has always been to make attending King’s Warriors games very affordable.”

“Not only will fans get to see high-level soccer, but will be thoroughly entertained as well. It will be a complete night of sports competition, fun, and entertainment.”

The King’s Warriors are members of the United Soccer League’s top men’s amateur league, the Premier Development League. In 2014 the PDL will feature 65 teams within four conferences throughout the United States and Canada.

Tickets for adults 17 years of age and older at priced at $8 at the gate. Adult tickets purchased at least 24 hours in advance of the desired game date will be discounted to $5. Ticket prices for youth ages 16 and under will be priced at $5. Senior citizens, 60 years of age and older, may purchase tickets for only $5.

Season tickets for the eight-game, 2014 season schedule will be priced at $40. Season ticket holders may exchange unused tickets during the season for any game remaining on the King’s Warriors 2014 regular-season schedule.

Tickets for groups are also available. Groups of 10 or more may purchase tickets for $5 per person.

The King’s Warriors home opener is Friday, May 16 at 7 p.m. at East River when they’ll host the South Carolina United Bantams.                                              

Tickets may be purchased in advance by phone using a credit card and calling the King’s Warriors office at 304-466-9080. Tickets may also be purchased at the gate at each game using cash or a credit card.
