MCA falls to Elk Valley

NEW RICHMOND — The Wyoming East Warriors remained perfect on the season with a 63-47 home win over Shady Spring, Saturday night.

Trailing by two at the half, the Warriors went on a run late in the third and throughout the fourth quarter to claim the win.

Austin Canada led all scorers with 23 and Christian Hedinger added 13 for the Warriors, who play next on Tuesday at Bluefield.

Steven Chabra led Shady Spring with 19 and Jordan Meadows tallied 15.

PRINCETON — J.J. Easter led a trio of Mercer Christian Cavaliers in double-digit scoring, but it was not quite enough as the Cavaliers fell to Elk Valley Christian, Saturday.

Easter fired in 26 points, Daniel Boothe added 13 and Caleb Janning 12. Boothe added nine rebounds and five assists.

MCA returns to action Tuesday night at Ballard Christian.
